View Full Version : Poker Tournament
I have a proposal. We've tried the poker nights at Absolute Poker with some success. I think a cool idea would be a heads-up tournament (meaning 1-on-1, single elimination). If we could get 8 or 16 players interested, then we could all sign up at www.pokerpages.com where they have heads-up tournaments. Both players start with 10,000 chips and the blinds increase every 10 minutes (beginning at 50/100 I think) until one player has all the chips. This could be a single-elimination, bracket style tournament or maybe even double-elimination if it would be more fun that way. What do you guys think? Id be willing to handle the administration of this tournament. Sound fun?
BTW I love these tourneys there, Im 5-0 so far :)

The scheduling of this would be dependant on each person setting up a time with their opponent that works well for them.

absolute poker???
sheesh, ultimate bet all the way!
At the time we tried this Absolute Poker was the easiest place to get a table with 7 or so FOFCers for a tournament.

OIC, well I'm always up for some poker action as long as I'm not poor :)
This tournament idea does not require an entry fee.

ahhh I see playchips, distracted by the bucs/pack game. free poker is even better!
Well, tournament chips. With no entry fee to enter the tournament.

absolute poker is prob just set up a little differently than i'm used to, regardless i'm in.
This tournament will be with the pokerpages software, not absolute poker.
