Well, the box score was clear but the logic certainly wasn't. Unfortunately I didn't have game logs on.

I don't have the game up now but basically I lost a game in overtime. No biggie, but we had scored in the waning seconds of regulation to tie it and then TRIED A TWO POINT CONVERSION which failed.

I can't imagine why we'd do this. Were we afraid of losing by a safety? I really wish I'd seen the game logs but my kicker isn't injured or anything so unless both he and the punter were temporarily knocked out of commission I'd say this one is pretty questionable.

see this real life game for reference. I can't believe I had to watch that shit transpire. This shows my undying hatred for the coach (technically it made sense, but have faith in your D man).

But dude, we were already tied. It doesn't matter about trusting the defense, a field goal wins either way and time was running out.

[edit] Ok, I read the thing more clearly and I can see where you're coming from but at least there it kinda sorta had a rationale. Still, can't blame you for being pissed though. Just kick the damned ball.

Maybe there was a bad snap and the tried a desperation play which records as a 2 pt conversion attempt?

I was thinking the same thing as henry296. I don't have the game, but does it tell you if the 2-point conversion attempt was a run or pass and who executed it? If it was a run by your starting RB, it's messed up. A pass by your starting QB, it's messed up. A run by your holder or pass by your holder then it's okay.

EDIT - Just noted that you didn't have Game Logs on. In that case it probably just said Run Failed or Pass Failed. Without the game log, you can't say for sure it wasn't a botched kick.
