In a game where the 14-1-1 Buffalo Bills have been getting JOBBED all game long with fumble after fumble after FUMBLE with no fumbles by the Detroit Lions it all comes down this...

2 minutes to go, the Bills trail by 8 after giving up a TD after (what else, I still can't believe that the game TELLS me that the weather is making the ball slippery when the Lions haven't fumbled once!) another fumble deep in their own territority. Drew Bledsoe, the master of the 4th quarter comeback drives the Bills down the field using his 3 timeouts and the wiles of WR Moulds and Calico. With 29 seconds to go in the championship game the Bills SCORE with a TD pass from Bledsoe to FB Jon Ritchie.

The Bills must go for 2 and the tie with 29 ticks on the clock BUT what play do they run???

It's 2008 :) They still go Harrington and Rogers tho who are both good in my career.

Run the ball up the middle. If your running game can't get three yards (with a cloud of dust, even in the rain), then you don't deserve to be champs. :D

I have jack squat at running back (Edgerrin is hurt) and I have 399 yds passing. Bledsoe has been killing them all game so I am leaning to a 2yd out or slant to either Ritchie or Calico....

They may have 45 minutes to adjust when they see it, but I'm sure he'll make it anyway.

But Bledsoe is coming back for his 17th season at least, 1 more run until cap hell if I can feenangle enough cap room...

When I went for 2 down 17-16 in the wanning seconds of a divisional playoff game, passing the ball never even entered my mind.

Nevermind that when I call plays my boxscore looks a bit like SkyDog's, but I still say win in by running the ball.

normally i would agree, but I had lost Edgerrin to injury and they couldn't stop my passing game so I had to go with a pass. I would much rather depend on the run tho in all other instances.
