Just a quick (Dumb probably) question?

I just got around to playing the game last night and have the real rosters. I noticed that most players on my squad, the Vikings, had really low ratings. Perhaps I am use to TCY where everyones ratings are over half red bars, or my team just sucks. But is this normal?

If I'm reading things right, half your team is supposed to suck. But so is everyone else's.
