So anyone else in the Houston area checking to see if neighbors are building overly large boats in their front yards? I've watched the water come up and down over the front yard a couple of times during the day. My wife is trying to get home from work right now, but its been an hour now so far, and its normally about a 30 minute drive. And, there's more rain coming tonight they say. Prayers are much appreciated, if thats your thing.

Just a quick update, things are getting better, for now. At least further north where I am. central and south houston were under a lot of water tonight, and we've got more storms coming. Tomorrow morning might be interesting. How did it go up in Shreveport Dutch?

Mild in town. More severe with tornado's and floods to the south and east of town. But nothing like Houston, I guess you folks got the storm when it was really mad. :)

Oh, c'mon, if you're from Houston then you should know that a day with floods is called Tuesday. Can't be too awful. My parents haven't even mentioned it yet.
