Have any of you from Georgia watched OUs newest HS commit, Ramarcus Brown from East Point Tri-Cities? He's a 4 star, I was just wondering what any of you thought about him.

Chose OU over Georgia, Auburn, Clemson, etc.

Thanks

He plays wide receiver on offense, but I think the Sooners plan on putting him at CB. He's got good speed, but needs to put on a few pounds.

Though for you OU fans, it wouldn't surprise me if another Big 12 school (Nebraska) landed a player who will be one of the top offensive tackles in next years recruting class. Eric Vandenheuvel out of Wisconsin was about 6'7" 325 with good strength, as well decent as mobility and agility for his size. And his O-Line coach just happens to be a huge Nebraska supporter (got his teammate who's committed to Wisconsin to consider Nebraska as his #2).

Obviously he's not great in the mobility department at that size, but more than you'd expect from a guy that big.

What would it take to get Bob Stoops to come up to Minnesota? :(

Hell, we'll take his brother even. Anything to replace the ass monkey we've got running things right now.

Vandenheuvel?

Sounds like something Professor Frink would say...

You know, the Jerry Lewis-wannabe professor from The Simpons...

Oh, that guy. Either I never knew his name or hadn't been able to recall in the excitment of the fact that I'm also writing a paper for a philosophy course at this time as well. :(

I had to look his name up. Either way, the joke apparently fell very flat...

What with the ignorance and the explaining and, oh god, the beating into the ground.

This is what happens when you stay up until 5 writing history and economics papers.

To answer the original question, I haven't seen him play, but I can get the 4-1-1 on him by the end of the week. They played Lakeside, which is one of the two high schools I work with personally, last weekend. I was speaking at a camp last weekend, and didn't go to any games (the first weekend all year I didn't make at least one game). I know several kids on the Lakeside team, and several parents who were there and are big-time football fans. I'll ask around.
