Just wanted to let those who may be interested know that I bought a starter set for Mage Knight 2.0 yesterday. The figures are well done, and seem to be better quality than the AD&D figures. I haven't been able to read the rules, but I glanced over the quick start sheet and things seem to flow well. I hope to be able to play a game a WizardWorld Texas this weekend, so I should know more about the mechanics of the game, but the first impression was a good one!

btw, Sachmo... where is Wizard World being held? I'm going to book my hotel room and I'm trying to figure out the best place to stay.

Looks like I'll be coming down Friday and leaving Saturday night. Here's hoping I don't blow too much money down there.

It's at the Arlington convention center, Cam. There is some information on the WizardWorld website, I believe, but I know it's right by the Ballpark. I'm planning on spending the whole day at the convention, so I know I'm going to be spending some cash. Just so you know, the new boosters will be sold, but they will limit everyone to 3 each, I believe. So it won't be TOO bad on your wallet!

Okyib- I ended that dynasty a while ago. You can probably search for it if you want to see it. We recently played a tournament at work and I came in second. Lots of material there, but I never wrote it up. It was great fun, though.
Did you ever find anyone to play against over there?

Just confirmed my hotel. I'm at the Amerisuites by Six Flags. Like I said, I'll be getting in town Friday night. Not sure what my plans are at the moment, but I'll send you a PM with my c-phone number before I get down there and maybe we can meet up either Friday night or Saturday.

There are guys that play Mage Kniight. But my HeroClix are going to waste.
