Roster requirements

Where can I find the positional requirements for active players in a game?
IE - 3 qbs, 3 rbs, etc.

I did spend about half an hour typing in key words such as position and requirement into the help file, along with searching this forum.

Finally found it for those interested:

Before adjusting your depth charts, you need to have a minimum number of players at each position. The minimums for each position are as follows:


Quarterback: 3
Running Back: 3
Fullback: 1
Tight End: 2
Wide Receiver: 4
Center: 2
Offensive Guard: 3
Offensive Tackle: 3
Punter: 1
Kicker: 1
Defensive End: 3
Defensive Tackle: 3 (2 if you play a 3-4 defense)
Inside Linebacker: 2 (3 if you play a 4-3 defense)
Outside Linebacker: 3
Cornerback: 4
Safety: 3

The remaining six active players may be distributed at any position.

I hope/believe so. I can't say for sure though since I've been blessed with incredibly good FB talent in my current career.

But that is also what it stated in the FOF4 help file. I'm guessing it's a carry-over bit of misinformation.

Maybe not, this is how it reads in FOF4, and there are actually differences:

I confirm. I've playing with just 1 FB and 2 TE, and they work to fill the 5 roster spots for those 2 positions.

It depens on my needs. Normaly i dont want my star WR to return kicks and punts. But now with long-snappers, Gunners its even more importend.

For me it depends on the talent I have, the talent that's available, what secondary skills my other players have, and the expected injury frequency of the personnel.

For a normal team I carry an extra FB, WR, OLB, S, offensive lineman (G or T), and defensive lineman (DE or DT).
