The new cd comes out today. The stuff I'v heard is pretty good, no tlike what they have done recently, but a different style. They are on KROQ right now playing some of their new songs. Nothing like the trash known as Good Charlotte or others in the "Punk-Pop" wave

Things have not been right in the world since the Mickey Mouse Club started producing punk bands.

? I'm assuming Robert Smith of the Cure, not the Vikings! Either way doesn't impress me, however.

actually all there stuff has been pretty much trash. Dude Ranch was the least trashy stuff they did. But man are they whinny. Speaking of some real punk rock news, the Ducky Boys will be reuniting in early 2004! Huge news for anyone who's been around the New England scene.

i downloaded the cd about a week ago and on first listen was pretty disappointed...i had previously heard a few of the songs such as "feeling this" and "violence" and was mildly optimistic. i had heard that this was a "departure" disc for them and totally different from what they'd done. well, it is. when i listened to the whole cd through i was pretty disappointed, but a few nights ago i gave it a second run through and i was actually pretty in to it. i think its one of those discs that will grow on you over time, but even so i think people will either love it or hate it. there is definately more of a box car racer feel to some of the songs, and mark is not very prominant. it is definately tom's album. overall its a quality cd, not their best but not their worst. i just dont know where they go in the future after this......

They were on the morning show here, minus Mark, and they were commenting that Pink FLoyd had a big influence on this album and that Tom was just recently into PF. Tom and Travis said that this was their "art" album and that they'll still go to their "poo" and "pee" stuff if they need to and to expect it at concerts still
