That's one cold championship game right there. Green Bay must have won the bidding for the Superbowl that year.

I havent played the game yet but I was hoping this would be fixed. I guess the super bowl is still played up north with crowds of 30,000. I wouldnt think this would be hard to change but reading around the threads it seems like things that seem simple to the layman are actually difficult programming tasks.

Most of my SBs have been in cold weather, but all of them have been sell outs. Jim fixed this from FOF 4

i kind of like the idea of super bowls being played in cold weather non-nfl cities

Also, judging by the fact that a 9-7 team won the superbowl, there seems to be a lot of parody among teams even by todays NFL standards.

Speaking of parody, in this particular season, my Cardinals made the playoffs by beating the Seahawks in the final regular season game. All 4 NFC West teams finished 8-8, but i had the best divisional record (i'm guessing that's the first tie break when more than 2 teams tie?). It was funny, because my 8-8 Cards hosted the 11-5 Redskins in the wild card round. Needless to say, we got spanked.

Also, the season before this, i played Seattle in week 17, game was at Arizona. We won that game, but then had to play them in the 1st round of the wild card playoffs the following week, again at Arizona. They won that game. But how often has that happened in real life, where 2 teams play each other in back to back weeks at the same stadium? I think it has happened recently, just can't remember when.

The misspelling jacks the above quote to a 100 Unintentional Comedy Rating.

Guys, guys, it's parity, not some funny spin-off.

Isn't the NFL going to give a Super Bowl this decade to either Washington, D.C., New York, or both?
