*Wait til week 5
*Find a team with a horrible record that you think will continue to stink it up
*Trade them your 1st (this year) + 7th (2 years from now) rounder for their 1st (this year) rounder
VOILA! Instant top draft pick every year. Of course if your team stinks then you don't have to do this.

This loophole has been around for a while. The best way to deal with it is simply to avoid it. ;)

yeah I know, just lettin everyone know it's still there. :(
Hmm, i wonder if this bug will work in multiplayer.
Could have something like commish must approve all trades...

Of course, the thing is, if you do this with say a 1-4 team and you are 4-1, and the 1-4 team turns into a 9-7 divisional winner and you end up 7-9, you have a big net lose on your hands (since having a divisional winner's pick puts you even further down the draft order)

That is how it is already. The commish has to complete all trades in MP. You can't make trade offers to AI controlled teams. If a trade were to happen with an AI team the commish has to put it through.

YOu add a 7th rounder? The first ime around, you can do it straight up. The next time, they want a little more

It never lets me do it straight up, I just offer a 1st and a 7th for their 1st.
Good to see that MP won't allow it, I haven't tested any of the MP stuff.

I remember back in FOF2 you could usually trade a current year first rounder to the ai for its next two firsts. You could pretty easily get nearly every first round pick after a while if you pushed it to the limit.
