I heard an interesting 'What If' on the radio the other day. It goes something like this:
What If Ohio State loses to Michigan, USC loses to UCLA (or whoever they play next), AND LSU loses in the SEC Championship Game. That means only OU is undefeated and 2-8 or whatever have 2 losses.
Now, what if one of these 2 loss teams ended up BEATING Oklahoma in the National Championship Game... who is #1 in the Polls? Do you give the 2 loss team who beat OU get the #1 spot, even though they have one more loss or do you give it to OU anyway, because they are the only team with 1 loss?
