I hate to say it, but I saw this one coming a mile away. It just fit the pattern too well.

1. We're ranked high and the UW is the underdawg

2. UW is coming off a humiliating loss

3. The Rose Bowl is on the line for WSU

4. Our starting quarterback is wounded

As it played out, I could feel the creeping sensation that the game was going to end exactly as it did. We had our opportunities to put you guys away, and failed to do so. We have lived on the edge with the 7 turnover games all season, and this time it bit us in the ass.

There were a few questionable calls that went your guys way (a fumble that was caused by the ground, no false start on that offsides call on Brown in the 4th quarter that would have been a sack), but no excuses, you won the game and we lost it.

Congrats on the Apple Cup win (6 in a row?!?).
