Does anybody know if there is a player generator that will make differant names for the fourth edition of FOF?

Do a search for OPU, that will enable you to create a whole new set of players.

Thanks man! Now I try to convert the file but it says to use the player file generator that came with my fof4 game. Do they mean the player file editor? If they do, i see no mention of anything converting from csv to fdt? any insight?

Make sure you grab the stuff for FOF 4 not FOF 2004 different games. I am pretty sure for FOF 4 you can make a new file using the payer editor and add one player. Than FOF 4 will add all of the rest. However I am not positive and if you are looking for information about FOF 2004 than its quite different.

I highly recommend it. Most of the utilities in the sticky thread up top are for FOF2004, not FOF4. There is a GREAT fictional roster generator for FOF2004 in that thread, created by HeavyReign.
