I signed Andre Johnson from Houston as a free agent in 2009, but here's the weird thing.
I offered him a 7 year, $59.55 million dollar deal, with a voidable 7th year (worth $13,500,000 in base salary) if he achieved 900 receiving yards (which he did every year except for the most recent, where he had 584 yards in 11 games).
He waited two weeks, until the start of week 3 (he had indicated a desire to sign in week 4), and then signed the contract. When he did that, though, the game showed it as a 6 year, $46 million contract, and when you view the contract, it shows the first six years just the same as what I offered, only in the 'Voidable' column, in the sixth year, it says '900 Receiving Yards'.
That's the incentive I had offered for the 7th year. Is this a bug, with the game dropping that final year if he's hit the incentive before signing with you (reachable incentive, I guess), or is the game simply not calculating that final year until/unless he should happen to not hit 900 yards in any given year?
