What happened to Virginia Wreck, I mean Tech?
BC baybee!
(the only thing more out of place then me cheering for my local college team in a NFL thread is that Roncomatic person above me cheering for a team 1500 miles or so away from his no-college football playing laughable thing we call a "state" ;))

1 hour before the games start and let me start off by saying congrats to the Vikings for thier win over Detroit.
Not much chance that the lossing streak continues for the Vikes today at home against the Lions.......oh well, they can beat the Lions up a little more so the Packers can whoop'em on Thanksgiving.

Ugh. I got a bad feeling about the Cowboys game today. Sucks even worse that I'm going to be stuck at work from noon till about nine pm tonight. I'm gonna miss all the football action... :(

LMAO.....on FOX pregame. Bradshaw interviewing Favre asking about his thumb, "You ever think about taking some vicadin or percoset?"
Favre, "No, never crossed my mind. Now 6-7 years ago i didn't need a thumb problem to consider that."
They then had a little laugh.....the rest was pretty funny too. Those two guys should get a T.V. show together when Favre is done with football. They are always funny as hell together!

I installed DirectTV this week and ordered the NFL Sunday Ticket. This is quite possibly the greatest thing on earth. I'm not forced to watch Dallas and Houston games every week now.:)

Ok, what is wrong with Bubba Franks, TE for the Packers? He hasn't done much this year, and to top it off he just completely stopped on a route and didn't even raise up his arms/hands to try to make the catch. This resulted in the pass being intercepted by a guy who was standing right behind him. All he had to do was lift his hands up! Fine don't catch it, but don't let the thing go right into the hands of the defender!! Two INT's for Favre today and both were headed towards Franks. I missed the first one flipping channels but this second one was ALL Franks' fault.

Baltimore-Seattle shootout in the third! Marcus Robinson scores 3 TDs in the quarter.
Wright's numbers so far: 11/19 180 yards, 3 TD 0 INT
Easy Mac

If only Wright still played for South Carolina, they only would have lost by 25 points.

i knew the Lions couldn't pull it out, they had some of my hopes up, but i called it before game time because it was just to easy for the Vikes to win against this team, at home, and after the last few weeks they have had. Oh well, Packers can catch them later on in the season.

Holy heck. First play OT Banks gets INT by Vrabel
You get the feeling with all the lucky bounces (The INT then fumble giving the pats the ball back on the same play, the wonderful catch by Graham, and now this) that someone is smiling on the Pats.

21-13 Bengals and Chad Johnson wants to challenge Robinson for most TDs in a game today, he's got his third in the 2nd quarter.
He gets the screen, and just breaks Sammy Davis with a nasty juke.

The sad thing is, with Atlanta up 21-0, I had absolutely no doubts that Tenn would win. I'm actually surprised they didn't win by more. I just wish they would've went the whole way with McNair in.
Poor Atlanta.

Definitely crazy..I tried to fix the picture on my TV for about 10 minutes before I realized that's just how they look. ;)
How about this other Hasselbeck kid? Looking pretty sharp so far. Of course I wish they would've went to this type of play calling before Ramsey got killed, but hey..what the hell.

The jerseys looked red to me as well. I thought it was retro New England for a second.
This was a weird day in sports all-together. The Falcons blowing a 21-0 lead to the Titans, who lost McNair when it was 21-14. The Dolphins with a nice 4th quarter comeback. The Bears winning after putting Kordell in at QB. The refs helping the Ravens win by giving them a 4th timeout in the second half. Rick Mirer to Jerry Rice for the touchdown (who would have thought that you would ever hear that?). Add the end to the President's Cup and you have one fun, yet odd day of sporting events.

Hey, Jeeber, you're scuttling the good name of the Bengals with your signature... how's about using the Cardinals, or Chargers or some other such team that actually sucks there?
Thanks. :)

11-24-2003, 11:45 AM
Well, the Miners put together a winning season every ten of fifteen years or so, so this season doesmt throw my sig completely out of whack. But I suppose the Cards or Lions would work also since they're both perenial losers as well. Hmmm...
Butter
11-24-2003, 12:00 PM
Go with the Cards! The Lions were fairly decent when they had Barry a few years back.
And I think this year in the NFL just shows how close all these teams are.
And Seattle got unbelievably screwed with the clock vs. the Ravens. Even so, how could they frickin' blow that game?!?!?
