Looking for any comments from folks out there using either Roadrunner or Sprint.

I'm trying to choose between the two and am having a hard time. My dad uses RR and has had few complaints. But SPRINT offers a better deal (about $15 a month better).

That said, my comm guy at work signed up for SPRINT and hates it. It locks up almost every day on him. He thinks it might be because he's using XP (which my wife will be using on this as well).

So I'm particularly interested in anyone using SPRINT and if they've had problems, especially if they use XP.

I looked into getting Cable TV and internet when I moved here about a month ago and Time Warner was ridiculous. They told they could give me digital cable and RR for low price of $110 a month. They then go on to tell me that [b/ STANDARD b/] cable (channels 2-78) would cost $55 dollars a month, I was paying $35 dollars a month in Monterey, CA, which is on of the highest Cost of Living area's in the country. So I ask how much RR would cost thinking that I could look into DirectTV, they tell me that RR alone would cost $45 a month since I wouldn't be a regular cable subscriber....so I decided to look into getting DSL through SBC. I talk to them and they tell me they'd hook me up with a free modem and installation and it would run $26.95 a month on a 1 year contract. DirectTV is running $48.99 a month with local channels and 2 room installation was $16.10. DSL isn't as fast as Cable, but I'm fairly pleased with it so far, especially for the price.

Because of this, my opinion of Time Warner is not very high at this moment so I'm probably not the best person to ask.
