I'm about to check out, and probably won't have much internet access over the holiday. Thought I'd send a shout out to everyone on the boards.
Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving, everyone!

Same to everyone. Eat, drink, watch football, and be merry.
And HEY...let's all be careful out there.

I don't even get Thanksgiving here.
No turkey.
No pie.
I do get to watch football. I will head down to the U.S. sports bar and finally get to see the horror that is Lions football instead of being forced to listen to the horror that is Lions football. I will have a beer and a hamburger.
Always slightly depressing not to have a proper Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Should be a fun, if busy, weekend. Tailgating all morning before the Lions game, maybe catching a bit of the parade as it goes through downtown, being drunk enough to avoid remembering the Lions game ;), family dinner tonight, then spending tomorrow and Saturday covering the Michigan high school football state finals from the 'Dome for the Michigan Talk Radio Network. www.mlive.com to listen live! Sorry, shameless plug :D

I'm just somewhat upset for having to work 2 am-noon both today and tommorrow.
Then again, getting paid the equivalent of double-time-and-a-half (10 hours holiday, then 10 hours at time and a half for actually WORKING it), does soothe the fact I'll be missing Thanksgiving at my grandma's for the first time in my 29 years.. a little.
But I've promised point blank, despite the fact I'm working the same shift 2-noon, come hell or high water, I will be up in the city for Christmas after work :)

I'm fat and I'm full.
Wow, 3 places to visit (mother in law, mother, step mother) and each one had something different to eat.
Tomorrow I must get up and get to Walmart..... :)
