Overall, I'd say the correlation is higher, but here is a look at some things I noticed:
The Top defensive player was a DE. He had 31.5 sacks and 93 tackles his senior year. He is now the 22nd best DE in the draft:

Here is the rest that I saw from the All-America team (that graduated):
Defender - 22nd DE
Top RB - 4th RB
Top WR - 15th WR
2nd WR - 69th WR
Top C - 8th C
Top P - 6th P
Top K - 31st K
Top DT - 36th DT
2nd OLB - 1st OLB
Top CB - 3rd CB
2nd CB - #1 player in draft
Top S - 1st S
2nd S - 9th S
I think the DB's translate better on first look, but obviously more analysis is needed. But I love the college stats in there. Since I haven't really played it yet with TCY drafts, it'd be interesting to see if players who had big college numbers are prone to do the same in spite of ratings.
