View Full Version : Mulitple installs PROBLEM

I just made multiple installs of FOF2004 on different partitions of the same HD and used a different start file with one. I had been playing a real player league for 10 or so years already and NOW my original game install isn't looking for or finding my "original" league. Is there anyway to change where the game looks for these files? I know it was not deleted or over written. This NEEDS to change.

Any help?

Dola, deleting and or uninstalling solved MY problem BUT the game still has a problem and the ability to "browse" for league files, etc needs to be added.

This came up recently, and I think the answer was to edit the registry to point to the correct path. You might have to switch it everytime you want to play the other installation.

Okay, man Jim needs to add this. IMO every league/universe should be "self-contained" and so different "types" of leagues run off the same install.

yeah no kidding. This is the biggest flaw I can see with his addition of multiplay. There really needs to be a system of sectioning off each universe. Hopefully, we'll be able to see this in a patch at some point.
