Madden Player Ratings

I want to see what yall think about the ratings in Madden. It seems to me that all of the ratings are way too high, that they do not get enough separation between the 99 best player in the league guy to the lower end, barely starting player. For example, it is not uncommon in my careers to see a team with 6 or 7 70+ players playing 2 or 3rd string. The difference between the skill level of these players and those who are all-pro is huge, certainly more than +/- 20 points. DO you think the difference ought to be greater? More like FOF, or do you like it the way it is. Maybe EA and the players association do not wish to rate players whose real names are there low.

I actually think it's pretty realistic for the game. If you're in the NFL, you're pretty freakin' sick to begin with...Now, FOF's rating might make sense fo THAT game, in that it may be coded that way, I dunno.
