You know, though, I think FOFC actually would rank in there if the three message boards were combined -- the current board, the archived FOFC message board that is apparently gone and the ol' Sideline.

Scary.

good point! The size and activity of this board is amazing considering the size of the football text sim niche.

You're joking, right? Even if we combined everything from the beginning, we may reach 1% of Gamespy's current total. FOFC is not the center of the universe, Matt. :D

I'm assuming this list is only counting publically accessable posts. One board I'm on has over 3,000,000 posts accessible to registered members, but only a fraction can be viewed by non-members.

The FOBL has 25% as many posts (~80,000 posts) as the 344th ranked forum and we have less than 40 regular posters (103 registered). That's even after we lost ~3 months of posts on a forum crash earlier... I bet we'd rank high on the "posts/person" charts. :)

FOFC is only 100,000 posts shy of being ranked only including posts to this forum, so I don't think its *too* much of a stretch if you included all the posts we've had on old forum versions....

Hmmm, the CLutchCity BBS that I sometimes post on has 1,134,848 posts and 15,240 members and it isn't on the list... :confused:

Not that it matters one iota, but I work with "clutch's" brother. Both live in Austin.
