goldurnears up 4-2 at the half, our central defender got sent off on a straight red earlier, so the goal count could be pretty high before we are done.

Blade Bombers - TSU Texans
Date: 12/1/2003 at 01:00
MatchID: 11068628
Arena: The Dome of Death
The match is in progress, it´s half time.
Due to an all-day shower, 23099 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at The Dome of Death. Bombers had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Cutler - Moore, Goetz, Tătaru - Mejer, Dotson, Fredfeldt, Torres, Martinsson - van Vossen, Nissbo.
Texans started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Langford - Basoa Rivas, Cain, Salinas - Parr, Estep, Larsen, Moore, Miller - Mata, Medley.
The incalculable Valeriu Tătaru of Bombers did everything right as he set up Erik Mejer for a goal in the 15:th minute. Unfortunately, the strike missed it´s target. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 in the 17:th by a breakthrough from Peter Martinsson, who unaided came in out of the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors keeper. 1 - 1 was a funny story: the seemingly nonchalant lob from Texans´s Freddie Moore landed at the feet of Bud Mata who sent it into the net - goal! In the 30:th minute the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending and Bud Mata put the ball away for 1 - 2. With a shot floated in from just outside the penalty area in the 35:th minute, Sherwood Goetz of Bombers evened the score to 2 - 2. Bomberss Randy Torres got himself booked after a foul. Texans were forced to a substitution as Stu Parr couldn´t continue playing due to the rough treatment. Halftime score was 2 - 2. Bombers held the ball, with a clear 59 percent possession rate.

Ruskies cruising 3-0 right now.
North Dakota Flying Buffalo FC (wife's team) leads 3-0 in what would be a HUGE upset in her series and put her in the early drivers seat for promotion.
She has 5 scoring opportunities compared to 0 for FC Durden.

Fear is up 6-0 on the road. For the 2nd week in a row, we are kicking the ass of the team that is (was) in 1st place.

Getting interesting in North Dakota. 3-1 Fighting Buffalo
72 minutes: A bit later Durden´s Ramón Requejo Pagčs easily reduced to 3 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home sides central defense line.
Ruskies still cruising 3-0, but we lost our best stiker to injury.

Dammit, Dammit, Dammit. 2 fluke event goals.
3-2
75 minutes: In the 75:th minute Christian Edenbom surprised the opponents with a 40 metre pass to Dan Lifwald who quite easily could settle the score to 3 - 2.
Ruskies extend lead to 4-0.

up 8-0 now. I wish I had known it would be this easy, I would have PIC.
How much better do you feel the need to be before you PIC a team? Maybe I will make a thread to ask, cuz I have no clue on this, obviously...or I am a pussy. :)

THE NAIL IN THE COFFIN!
83 minutes: A bit later, a magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Buffalo´s Dinaraja Balu putting the lead up to 4 - 2.
Ruskies have pulled away and are up 6-0 now.

well in my league we have 2 teams that totally suck. So those are given. If they put up pretty bad midfield then it is okay to pic. otherwise you run the risk of it biting you in the ass.

Managed a 0-0 draw away, though he injured both my Goalie and my best Wingback. Pulled a Formidable-Excellent-Passable attack, which makes me feel better.
