Fullback Rushing

Hi,

I'm in my 2nd season with FOF2004 and notice that my fullbacks are not getting any rushing attempts which means no yards. I have the computer set my gameplans and all sets are 16% to rush fullback, but I have maybe only 3 total attempts after 11 games.

Is there something I'm missing or is this normal?

I know its been already posted but I also cannot access the view screen in playcalling, it always crashes the game. Its not too important as I don't coach only watch pbp.

Check your formation usage to make sure you have a FB in the formation a lot of the time.

Does that apply also when I'm not in coach mode. All I control is my teams depth chart. I let the computer handle all gameplans etc.

In that case they probably have changed your FB rushing percentage. If not, then they have probably changed the formation use so it won't include your FB as often.

I managed to get 1000 yards out of a nearly maxed FB for a couple seasons by setting the FB rushing percentage to the max. He shared the carries pretty evenly with the #1 RB I believe.

From my own experience with it, I'd wager at least a little bit that the answer lies somewhere in formation usage.

I mix coaches calling plays & calling my own plays, always in scoreboard mode with my team. What I see happening is that my fullback (set to max carries) doesn't get much use unless I'm calling the plays, apparently due to the settings for formations (usually left to recommended levels) not utilizing an FB.
