So How Do I???

How do I know which version I have. I bought the game last week. After a week of having computer troubles and troubles downloading it, I got it downloaded it tonight for the first time. So how do I know which version I have. I'm thinking I have 5.0A because I'm trying to download the real names with the 5.0b update to it and its not working with the game. I could be doing something wrong trying to get the real names, I don't know. I downloaded it, it wasn't a zip file so I don't know if that has something to do with it, and added it to the universe folder.

The last icon on the screen, the Solecismic logo, next to the question mark. Click on it and in the right hand corner it should tell you which version you have.

Cool, it says 5.0b...so what am I doing wrong with the Real name files then? I searched for past threads but didn't find anything. Us Potato farmers are a little dense when it comes to these things

All you need to do is make sure you have a .fdt version of the player file in you FOF2k4 folder, if you have a .csv version use the player file generator to convert it, then when begining a career choose "use alternate player file", then double click on the player file.

Well I certainly wouldn't be saying that to Paris Hilton...maybe her money, but not her.


Uhhh, it must be late, because I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out why it wasn't loading those names, only to find that I hadn't pushed the alternate roster setting when you start a new game...Wow, 6:30 am is going to come awful early. I guess I should get used to no sleep now that I have this game.
