I would guess anywhere from a solid to a formdiable (in good form). If you play want the highest rating midfield possible, play your wingers normal. Of course, that will take away from your attack.

playing a winger normal gives absolutely 0 (yep zero :-) better midfield than if you play them offensive or defensive. only towards middle affects their playmaking contribution.

I'd say formidable @ home, and excellent away playing normal.
PIC solid away, excellent home.
MOTS, no idea ;)

ewwwww

Just for a side note I put up an excellent away last week while playing normal with a formidable (popped to outstanding today), formidable, and a formidable. Passing is poor, weak, and inad respecitvly. Two put up 4*, while one put up 3 1/2*. I also played a passable/passable/poor winger towards middle and he contributed 2*. So far I've found ratings to be so random for me that I've given up trying to predict. Last season while PICing away I put up an outstanding with a formidable, excellent, solid.

Yeah, I know, not pretty, but he was a youth pull when I needed a IM trainee.

bleh.. I put up outstanding with 3 x mid-high outstandings (granted form was like 6/6/3) They had a great form bump however and are now 7/7/5. Last week they got 4* 4* 2.5*, I'm thinking 4.5*, 4.5*, 3.5* this week and maybe magnificent midfield? (I play both wings offensive too and all middies normal)

So it looks like I'm being jipped pretty bad if you guys are putting up those kinds of ratings with lower players =) I would expect solid/excellent midfield if I were you, but what do I know..

i usually get solid excellent, but was greatly pleased with it...my outstanding is only valued at 267k, but pulls in 4.5 stars and is powerul...that means when it rains(like it did last week for me), he does even better...my other two get 3 and 2.5 stars

Vogt and Ali really need another week of stamina training. Completely unrelated (and entirely unsolicited), I'd suggest playing Ali defensive and Garlick offensive on Kapur's side.

Payne probably would do more for your team playing towards middle since his PM is stronger then his winger. just switch which sides your wingers are on every once in a while. maybe sometimes play both offensive or both towards middle depending on your opponent. the more unpredictable you are the better :)
