I just drafted by future star RB with the 3rd overall pick in the first round. But Atlanta is on the board with the 14th pick and a stud QB is still there for the taking. Should I trade my 2004 2nd round pick, 2005 3rd round pick and 2006 3rd round pick to move up and take this guy?
PLEASE RESPOND FAST!!!

I had one year where I took a stud RB and QB in the first round. QB started 16 games for me, ended up getting beat out the next year by a rookie from the 6th round.

Oh, and I would make the trade.

I DID IT!!! I've now got my future starting RB and QB both 1st rounders. Now if I can only get that big play WR - "THE DALLAS TRIPLETS" will be born again.

Have a chance to trade 2004 3rd and 4th rounders the the Falcons for 2nd round pick #14. I can get my wide receiver! What do you think?

Apparently you got the version of the game in which all the other GMs are on crack. I can't believe you're getting those proposals! Why don't these kinds of things ever happen to me? :(

And then on to training camp to see if there can be 3 major busts in one teams draft class. :)
And I'm just curious, what difficulty are you playing at?

There's an easter egg you can use that gives you incriminating photos of other GM's with barnyard animals dressed in spandex. I think Jim has it posted on his website someplace...
Either that, or this guy's playing a hotseat game with himself...

The other GM's are not proposing these deals, are they? I assume that these are deals that jshipman2 is proposing. Is Atlanta in cap hell?
On a related note, assuming that Atlanta does not have a specific reason for agreeing to these trades, could this be considered exploiting the AI, or does the threat that your scout is wrong or the guys may bust counter any concerns make the trades fair?

I'm pretty sure you're right - they don't. Which is a shame, as I feel that type of movement provides half of the excitement of the "real" draft day.

If you are interested, here is a chart of how the NFL teams value draft picks in trading up and down.

Can you really gouge the AI with draft trades like that? I had one of the early verions of FOF, and you could trade 2 or 3 low picks for next year's 1st rounders all day long. I had hoped this exploit was removed (because I have no willpower and cannot resist an exploit).

I haven't noticed that it's particularly easy. But I don't propose ridiculous draft day trades either.
Maybe he's not playing on Wall Street.

That would have to be my guess. I've offered much better deals to move up that weren't even considered.

(Um... is there any chance that FOF uses the same chart? Could be a heck of a spoiler if it did.)
