I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed, but I couldn't find anything about it.
I'm wondering about the effect of the coach ratings. Each of the three types of coach has certain ratings highlighted (position development for the coordinators, motivation and playcalling for the head coaches, etc.), and clearly these are meant to be the most important ratings for that type of coach, but it isn't clear whether the non-highlighted ratings are at all important. It doesn't make sense that a defensive coordinator would have any impact on the development of offensive players, but it does seem he would have a large impact on defensive playcalling (possibly even more than the head coach!), and probably motivation and discipline too. The question is whether or not this is true in the game. Does anyone know?
