22166 spectators arrived at Triple Crown Stadium, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Slew had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Fry - Jensen, Thibodeaux, Garate - Johnson, Catalão, Paschen, Stephens, Huemer - Pitarch, Gavalakis.

Buffalo had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Gaston - de Oliveira, Hedrick, Sunesson - Muniz, bin Mahamad, Banks, Vaughan, Lawson - Neagu, Balu.

Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 15:th minute goal by Christos Gavalakis for Slew, putting them ahead 1 - 0. Hugo Catalão received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the 25:th minute and almost caused an opponent to score. In the 27:th minute of the match the visitors central line of defence had to look on as Erik Thibodeaux dashed through, knocking home 2 - 0 for Slew. With 35 minutes played Xavi Pitarch could have brought this one home for Slew, had his hooked ball gone in, but it went just a bit too high. The teams went for a half-time break at 2 - 0. Slew held the ball, with a clear 58 percent possession rate.

In the 79:th minute Slew´s Louis Johnson tried to nail the coffin shut, but the shot rebounded off the bar to fall behind the net. 79 minutes into the game Marko Huemer had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Orell Nitz. Buffalo showed some good morale and were, in the 84:th minute, able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 as Dinaraja Balu got past the home sides full backs straight in front of the goal. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Slew´s Orell Nitz got himself booked. John Muniz was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the enemy box - Dinaraja Balu managed to kick one of them into 2 - 2 in the 88:th minute. Buffalo took the lead after 88 minutes with 2 - 3. Ciprian Neagu placed the ball out of reach for the home sides keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. Slew held the ball, with a clear 57 percent possession rate.

Slew´s best player was Christos Gavalakis. Orell Nitz was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Buffalo player was without a doubt Ciprian Neagu. Dinaraja Balu on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 3.

thats happened to me before, had a guy score a hattrick in 10 min, the last goal was the golden goal.

the guy who played me today scored 2 goals in the same minute to tie our match too :( but it wasnt right at the end. i should have beat him thats 3 of 4 league matches already this season ive gotten robbed on

From the the first season that the Screamin' Seamen were in Division IV. Check out the second half:

Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 5358 at Valentula today. Gazzaly started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Huber - Griggs, Rouse, Andrade - Marcus, Song, Dumas, Vargas, Queen - Marrero, Mcintyre.

Screamin' tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Jernigan - Willard, Scales, Lucas - Mauffret , Tere, Bautista, Tomlin, Mcmahon - Henriksson, Tobias.

The referee showed Screamin's Charlie Bautista the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Gazzaly were forced to a substitution as Zeb Queen couldn´t continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Michael Yates to come in from the sidelines. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 20:th minute goal by Bryan Vargas for Gazzaly, putting them ahead 1 - 0. In the 26:th minute Gazzaly put themselves up 2 - 0. The visitors defenders lost the ball to Roland Mcintyre coming up from the left, who proceeded to cooly round the goaltender and knock the ball home. The structure of the game started to change as Gazzaly decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. The teams went for a half-time break at 2 - 0. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Gazzaly, with an impressive 52 percent possession of the ball.

Screamin' showed some good morale and were, in the 79:th minute, able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 as Johannes Henriksson got past the home sides full backs straight in front of the goal. Richard Song was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was saved by the keeper. However, Gazzaly´s Kirby Marcus managed to get hold of the rebound and scored the 3-1 goal. In the games 83rd minute Screamin' replied, reducing the lead to 3 - 2. Charlie Bautista scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. The visitors didn´t give in and after 85 minutes Forrest Tobias got through the home sides central line of defense, rolling in the levelling goal to make it 3 - 3. After 89 minutes Screamin's Forrest Tobias made his way through the middle, putting the visitors up 3 - 4. In the 89:th minute Screamin's Lucian Tere received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Gazzaly were forced to a substitution as Bryan Vargas couldn´t continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Demesio Gallegos to come in from the sidelines. The home crowd were tearing their hair as Roland Mcintyre missed a penalty shot by miles in the 90:th minute. Screamin', bringing the final ball possession rate to 51 percent, dominated the battle.

Gazzaly´s best player was Richard Song. However, Merrill Griggs made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Screamin' player was without a doubt Cornelius Jernigan. Lucian Tere was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 4.

This match damn near gave me a heart attack. :D

Want a miracle win? Look at this one. This was a couple weeks ago, but still amazes me. This was against a decent IV team that totally outplayed me statswise:

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of White, and they seem excellent at it. Jared Lynn gave his White the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post. 9 minutes into the game Goodfellas´s Damario Merlo found a gap in the home sides central defense scoring with a long shot, making it 1 - 1. 1 - 2 was a funny story: the seemingly nonchalant lob from Goodfellas´s Moeaktola Carter landed at the feet of Damario Merlo who sent it into the net - goal! After the ball got lifted in from the left Damario Merlo was on his own in the home side´s penalty area 17 minutes into the game, and should have scored, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. Halftime score was 1 - 2. Goodfellas held the ball, with a clear 69 percent possession rate.

Whites counterattacks were lethal to the opposing defense, allowing Rod Holliday to score easily from the right flank for 2 - 2. Goodfellass Jared Briscoe got himself booked after a foul. Bruno Grandjean of Goodfellas received a yellow card in the 69:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Christopher Callaway, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. Goodfellas made a substitution in the 73rd minute. Pavel Ungureanu limped off the field and was replaced by Casimiro Carino. A free kick aimed at the keepers far post almost gave Goodfellas the lead in the 74:th minute, but the ball just wasn´t able to squirm it´s way through the defensive wall. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Goodfellas, with an impressive 79 percent possession of the ball.

Not having decided a winner at full-time, the match went into extra time. The result was still a draw, so the game had to be settled with penalties. White´s Ismo Taipale looked insecure all the way from laying the ball down to clipping the ball miles wide of the crossbar. No goal. The penalty, going just wide of the mark, didn´t produce a goal. Goodfellas´s Dwight Nolen was seemingly taken by the gravity of the moment, producing a badly laid penalty, blocked by Shawn Carter. Score still 3 - 3. White´s Christopher Callaway cooly put the ball past Carrol Bethea. 4 - 3. Goodfellas´s Leroy Adams hesitated a long time before shooting a penalty going just wide of the left post. Still 4 - 3.

I would have won my series last year if I had won this match.

Almost all the way down to the corner flag Leland Olvera somhow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for Tyree Sharp who struck for 0 - 1. Lockwood tried to reply with long plays towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitor´s defence got the best of it. Lockwoods Jimmie Grimes got himself booked after a foul. Pirates were forced to a substitution as Enrico Buendia couldn´t continue playing due to the rough treatment. In the 37:th minute Pirates put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. Scorer was Tyree Sharp. Lockwoods Ronny Dozier got himself booked after a foul. The player down was Donnie Gillett. The Pirates bench looked worried a while but in the end he managed to get up. In the 38:th minute Pirates put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. Scorer was Tyree Sharp. By then Tyree Sharp was a three time scorer - a hat trick! Pirates´s Tyree Sharp received a play slashing through the home side´s defense in the 39:th minute, chipping it past the keeper scoring 0 - 4. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. Lockwood´s Darrell Chung got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge putting the away teams lead down to 1 - 4. Lockwoods Ty Hook got himself booked after a foul. 1 - 4 was the half-time score. Lockwood held the ball, with a clear 53 percent possession rate.

The home crowd brightened somewhat when Luke Donnelly scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the numbers 2 to 4. After the ball got lifted in from the left Leland Olvera was on his own in the home side´s penalty area 80 minutes into the game, and should have scored, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. Lockwood reduced the score in the 85:th minute to 3 - 4 when Darrell Chung got the best of a ball floated in from the left. With a shot floated in from just outside the penalty area in the 89:th minute, Carlos Haza of Lockwood evened the score to 4 - 4. Carlos Haza acted with superior experience when in the 89:th minute he predicted a pass, intercepted it and then finished off with a goal to 5-4 for his Lockwood. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Lockwood, with an impressive 63 percent possession of the ball.
