We had some fun with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd editions awhile back, and somebody (sorry, I forgot who) came up with a bunch more for us.

Here are a few quick ones - probably the easiest of the lot:
C - Canon
D - Dr Pepper
G - Lego
H - Yahoo!
J - Jif
Q - Dairy Queen
S - Sheraton
T - Citi / Citibank
X - Twix
Z - Zenith
Probably a mistake or two among those, but it's a start...

I'd thought the D was Dr. Pepper, but upon entering it it's not marked as a correct response.
Others:
U: Blockbuster
Y: Lays
M: Sam Adams
N: NASA
E: Zales
V: Volvo
I know I've seen the F, but can't place it.
O is Kinkos

4th Edition Hints or Solutions
An Explanation
For months, my policy has been that I will provide no hints or solutions to the current edition. However, the demand for this took me by surprise. I often found myself fielding multiple requests a day to settle players' curiosities. Throughout this time, I have politely responded to each requester with an explanation of my thought process.
Because of the escalating demand for solutions and the rapidly increasing load on my web server, I am now offering letter-by-letter solutions to the Game for a fee. First, my goal here is not to make tons of money off of random players. On the contrary, the Retail Alphabet Game is a hobby of mine, and I'd rather satisfy the curious by allowing them to purchase solutions instead of emailing me requesting them. Second, I set the price high enough to encourage players to work as hard as they can to figure out the answers on their own, utilizing their friends, the Internet, their car to drive around, etc. while still providing a light at the end of the tunnel.
With that being said . . .
Purchase a Letter Hint or Solution
This will allow you to purchase a single-letter hint or solution with your credit card using PayPal.
Each letter for which you want a hint costs $4.
Each letter for which you want a solution costs $8
Wow, he's kind of reaching now.....

No biggie. Being a huge Dr. Pepper nut, I immediately noted it was similar but not the same "D". :)

Is D working as dr. pepper for anyone? That was the first thing that I thought of but no matter how I enter it, it doesn't accept it. The worst part is that now I can't focus on that being anything other than Dr. Pepper.

Very similar. So similar that if it's the last one left we'll just assume it's right. I didn't realize how close it was.

K - Burger King
Good Night TLK.
Heh I corresponded with this guy after I made my own version of his game, and now I see some of my logo ideas used in his fourth puzzle. :) He complimented me on mine saying there were lots of people that tried to do this and sent him theirs to look at, but mine was one of the better (may have used the word best, I dont remember).
I dont mind. His are much cleaner than mine were, visually, but some of these ARE pretty much straight off of the ones I created :) Im flattered, I think.

Wow- that's crazy. I thought about putting Burger King in last night as a last resort, but thought it looked nothing like the BK logo. Good work guys.
