ITP is shaping up really well and is now in beta testing. 95% of the features are built in, and in our small apha test scenario everything worked like a charm :)

IF testing goes well, the game should be released a couple of days before Christmas.

I'm not a big baseball fan but i will purchase this one, it's something new that worths to try. Also looking for ootp6, for next season i have propossed myself to learn all about baseball as i did for other usa sports, i can't miss the known text sims :)

Since the attributes for hitting include "gap power" as opposed to "doubles" and "triples", is it safe to assume that the new rating system that will be used in OOTP6 is being used in ITP? Might be worth getting just for a preview of the new system...

I know, and I'm wondering if the system that is being implemented in ITP is the one that will be in OOTP. If so, that might persuade me to buy it just to check out how the new ratings correspond to statistical output.

According to one post Markus made it is a "modified" OOTP5 format, which means it may not be "exactly" what he intends to use but is headed in that direction.
