I'm running an LSU dynasty in which the SEC West teams I face are mainly passing or balanced offenses. I'm at a point where I'm usually able to win the conference championship - but the BCS teams I face in the bowls are generally ones using the Power I. I run a 4-3 defense and I'm finding that the Power-I teams run all over me in the championship game.
Any recruiting or defensive strategy tips that I could use to offset this? So far, I've found that I'm most successful against the Power I in the seasons which I have both a MLB and FS who are rated in the high 80's - 90's in run defense. But if either of my MLB or FS is a redshirt junior first-year starter with a sub-60 run defense rating, the Power-I offenses run all over me - even if both my starting DTs are rated high against the run.
