Wow! WOW! This is REALLY good; definitely the type of music I like. Do you have a website? Are you the lead singer?

What are the titles of the songs?

Damn, we have some talented people at FOFC.

I'm really glad that you like it, we have a website, but i'm so busy to design it so just uploaded a simple index with the CD cover. Now that i look at it i have proposed myself to upload pics of live shows, songs, lyrics etc this weekend :)

http://www.swamioms.com/

I'm not the singer, i play guitar only, the singer is also the bassist.

Here are the titles:

Song 1: Un dia mas (Another day)
Song 2: Vencido (Defeated)
Song 3: La celda (The cell)
Song 4: Ajeno (Other people's)
Song 5: No quiso mirar (Didn't want to look around)

LOL, we used to sing in english before, as 99% of the bands we listen to sing in english. But 2 years ago we decided to change to our main lang and we like it, also the spanish public now can underestand our lyrics as mostly of spanish don't speak english. The funny thing is that we still compose in english and then translate it to spanish. :)

Hehe EasyMac i did :)

The funny thing is that last summer i went for bussines to Miami and all there was in spanish, even the signals and messages voices at the airport. I felt like at home at restaurants etc, while mostly of the other guys at the convention (from the rest of europe and usa) where complaining :)

those sound pretty cool (although I can't listen without picture Antonio Banderas singing, and I have no idea why - or how to make myself stop).

You have a perfect chance to try and convert Spain into an English speaking country and you blow it.

Sounds good Icy. Spain is a great place, my wife and I love it.
Good luck on your CD sales.

That is my business too. I have moved from the band-tour circuit to studio only. Up to 17 released now. Here is the latest.

Icy, that music is very easy on the ears. Outstanding work. It reminds me of early Faith No More (well, except it's in Spanish).

That's really a nice hook to go to Spanish. Spanish is very poetic and translates very well to music, much like Italian in opera.

I was thrown off a bit because I recognized some of it as Spanish, but it was just beyond my grasp to understand it. Then I saw on the post you were from Spain and realized that of course, this is Castillan. I once had a NATO job with a Spaniard working for me and could never understand him, but I can understand Hispanics in the US with no problem. Just the dialects I'm familiar with.

BTW, very good music. The world needs more Rock.

Maybe we need a "Band" forum so everyone can pimp their stuff. :D

On a related note, it's good to see Yossarian's band (driverdown) is getting work. Headliner even!

Yeah, some good Spanish Rock !!

Icy, show the world that we know how to handle a guitar :)

One of these days I'm going to burn my old 4-song EP from a punk band I had in the early eighties. Vinyl, of course ;)

Icy,

Nice sound. When I listened to the first file I expected some salsa sounding bullcrap. I've never listened to a Spanish metal band before. It's superb, a pleasant surprise.

Not that it matters, but you've been officially added to my Winamp playlist...;)
