I am currently in the offseason prior to 2007 and am playing as the Ravens with the real player file.
Ed Hartwell (ILB) played for me from 2003-2005 and left as a free agent to play in SF in 2006. In the draft that I am currently in the process of doing I had 2 first round picks (# 6 overall via trade and # 31 which was mine)
I drafted an OL at 6 and really needed to get a LB at 31 because Ray Lewis and Peter Boulward are both going to be out for most of this year with ACL tears. Unfortunatly, this is the weakest draft I have seen yet and no one that could help me was available at 31. I decided to attempt to trade the # 31 pick for a LB and ended up getting Hartwell and a 5th rounder for my 1st rounder and a DL.
My question is this: Will I receive any type of cohesion bonus for bringing Hartwell back? He was only gone for one year and a majority of the players he played with in 2005 are still with the team. My OL was the best in the league last year due to their cohesion being in the 80's. They played way above their heads (based on their ratings, and I have a good scout). Because of this I see the importance of cohesion and would like to keep the #'s as high as I possibly can.
I imagine this may not have a definitive answer, but what does everyone think?
