Have you ever bought a Wallet?

Being a guy, I have never actually bought a wallet for myself. I have gotten one nearly every year since I was about 12. I just wondered if this was a standard gift giving procedure for men.

Can't remember if i have ever gotten one for a gift, if i did i was like 16 or so. I usually pick out my own wallets, every 4 years or so. Only reason i got the wallet i have now two years back is because mine old one was stolen at a truck stop, otherwise i would still have that one i'm sure.

lol..come to think of it I haven't either. Wife just got me a new one for x-mas. :D

My current wallet is a rubber band. I think I stole it from work.

It has become a tradition for my sister to give me a wallet for christmas every two years. I'm not sure how that became so, but there it is.

So, no, I don't think I've ever purchased my own wallet.

I've had a grand total of three wallets in my life. About every 10 years I get one for Christmas, and then I lug that thing around until it's fallin' apart at the seams.

I figure, that's what pockets are for.
