The unbelieveable thing is, prior to making it to the Final, I hit a half court 3 pointer at the buzzer to beat Marquette 78-76!!

I finished the season (33-5) overall. I had quite a few nail biters during the season, including a 103-102 triple overtime game against the Kentucy Wildcats.

I have moved on to the off season now and lost 3 of my players to the NBA. Good for them. Now it's time to see if I can repeat.

I absolutely love this game too!

I'm taking the easy way out with Duke just for fun, I don't know many college BB players (I'm from Canada so US college sports are not nearly as popular here) so I jumped into a well known team / division so that I could play some of the players that I DID recognize.

The game is just smooth though, I find it plays far better than the pro version.

Yes I just got this game today. I had been freaking looking for it for a week. Nobody had the playstation 2 version, but everyone had the xbox version. I finally found it at some used games store: used. Weird. Anyway, Ive been very impressed with the improvement over last year's game. The force field effect seems to be almost gone and fast breaks are MUCH better (though not perfect). Also jump steals are not nearly as easy. Happy to see a couple of Arkansas teams in the classic teams list, too. Very happy with this game so far. Recruiting also seems to be WAY better by the way.

Oops! I am playing 15 minute halves. 14 seems to be the preferred time though.

Sometimes I have games in the mid 60's to low 70's and then in some I score alot of points.

Glad to see other guys enjoying the game!

I opened my second season tonight and man the schedule that I got to start with.

I beat #7 Duke 97-90 in overtime and then turned around and beat #24 Providence 84-73.

(2-0) start so far, I play #1 Syracuse next.

Operation Sports has the links to real player name files. You'll need Action Replay to get it onto your console though.

Also on Op Sports there's tons of slider discussions. I like using Jistic's All-Conference sliders which give me a good challenge and very realistic stats (14 minute half).

I'm also a big fan of Jistic's sliders. I'm considering playing the rest of my season shorthanded as it appears I will never get a reply from ESPNVideogames, and this game is too good despite the bugs to just sit on my shelf all year long.

I think that's the game I'm going to have to buy with the Hastings gift card my girlfriend's parents got me for Christmas. What's up with this "Action Replay" thing? How much does it cost, does it work with X-Box, and is it difficult to find?

I don't have an X-Box but my understanding is that their is a version of action replay for the X-box. I believe it costs around 30 dollars, and it is somewhat difficult to find. It is a valuable tool for importing rosters for several different sports games, that is the only use my friend has found for it.

You should be able to get Action Replay at Software Etc, Gamespot, etc.

It is very easy to use.

Basically it is just a USB plug you put on your computer and put your memory card in it. You can then drag and drop any .zip file you get off the net (or off the Action Replay website) onto your memory card and then bring it into your Xbox. The AR comes with a (really crappy) memory card which half the time corrupts the files you're transferring, so just use your own card instead.

I'm currently 5-8 with the Campbell Fightin' Camels. My highlight win was over East Carolina.

Even though I'm losing, damn this is a fun game. Too bad I've already had one game freeze with 3.9 seconds left. Hopefully it won't be a regular occurance.

I have the near end of game freezes usually every 10th game or so :( It is very frustrating but my redshirt problem is even more frustrating. Yet despite these problems the game is so good, I fight through the problems and still enjoy it.
