So what makes Wegmans so good to work for? Do you agree?

It's hard to say if we should be #9 or whatnot since it's the only company I have really ever worked for (started when i was 16).
- You can get a $1,500/yr scholarship towards college
- raises every 6 month (providing you aren't stealing or always calling in)
- excellent pay, FREE good health insurance (you can get this as a part timer as well)
- 401k with matches and they put extra money in every year too
- room to move up with new 2-3 new stores every year with opps to move to other states if you want (where they pay for a ton to get you to move)
- even tho we are bigger now (65 stores in soon to be 5 states) it is still a "family buisness" tho as you get further from Rochester that decreases.
Those are the main points, I wouldn't still be there if I didn't like working there. It has it's downpoints too don't get me wrong but I get paid a ton of money for the work I do (not to brag or anything but our competitors pay a lot less). I feel like I am very well taken care of by corporate.

Sounds like a nice deal.
Don't tell the Union over here, they are still striking because they don't want to pay $10 for health insurance.
