I know this has been asked before but I noticed that STBSE is out ... I own STB2003 and never really got into it because I was never able to find a patch for it but I am looking to get into a good bball game and want you opinion on which to buy....Should I just stick with STB2003 and find some mods and patches (where)? or TBB ? or FBB? or STBSE?
Which is the best overall??? So many choices...
help!!!
p.s. my wife thanks you in advance for giving me another reason to play "those stupid fu*%ing games"...
Thanks

STB2003 is an updated version of FBB, and STBSE is an updated/patchable version of STB2003.
It was released as STBSE for those who wanted features of STB2003 but couldn't buy the game since it was discontinued or bought the downloaded version of STB2k3.
If you have the CD version of STB2003, you can find patches for it.
If you have the download version of STB2003, you're SOL patch wise and will have to look into STBSE.
Can't say anything about Total Pro Basketball, never played it but they do have a demo available for it.
I've never tried it as STB has been perfectly fine for me and my basketball sim needs. It's got got a solid sim engine that's been tuned for well over a year since it's built on FBB, and has enough fluff to keep it fun. Plenty of stat/history tracking and everything else I need.

One of the patches here for STB2003, but as I said above... Only foir the CD version, so don't install if you've got the download version.

I prefer TPB at this point, but Fast Break is a solid game as well

If you want an entire basketball universe, you can't go wrong with Fast Break/STB since HR has put out one of the best sports sim games of the year with FBCB and you can import your players into the pros.
