TCY: Scheduling games

I play a career with the BYU Cougars and I wonder why EVERY year I ought to play Notre Dame...

They are a permanent game on our BYU schedule every year. Why is that ?
Too bad cause my program is not exactly where it should be currently and Notre Dame (Defending National Champion) is always a Top-5 team in my career...meaning it's always a guaranteed loss (and a big one for the matter).

It's fun to be able to play Notre Dame from time to time, but every season is too much.
Any ideas how why I have that happening ?

Every team has one nonconference team they are assigned to play every year. For my Northern Illinois team, we play Troy St. every year. I don't believe you can do anything about it.

Yeah, Missouri plays Michigan St. for some reason.

This must have changed in one of Jim's patches because Rutgers used to have BYU as its permanent partner.

Nebraska has to play Arizona every year. It gets kind of annoying.

That's right OldGiants, Rutgers is what I used to have pre-patch as well.

I guess since Notre Dame was on BYU's 2003 schedule, Jim opted for making it a permanent game.
