OK, I need a bit of help. If I wanted to know just by looking at stats how my DT's are at stopping the run what should I be looking at and what is a good number to have?

I would like to know what is better on the run defense, loose man to man, zone, or bump and run? I would think the man to man????

dont know about fof, but IRL man to man may pull players "in the box" away.

Look at the tackle percentage. you can tell how effective the DTs and linebackers are from that, somewhat.
But look out. If you have a crappy team, then you some guys will have absurd tackle percentages just because they are the only guys on the field that can bring ball carriers down.

If your Safeties are getting a lot of tackles, you need to beef up the DL. If the DL or LBs are getting a lot of tackles, your front 7 are doing a good job.

Tackle percentages can be very deceiving. You really have to take into account the top guys in the league through the individual statistics screen, compare that to the quality of the team and then to your team before you can make any sort of assessment.
