I have a question over something that has been bothering for sometime now. It concerns the importing of drafts from TCY to FOF.

For the longest time I have been importing drafts into the game and I have enjoyed seeing college stars turn into pro stars. The problem is that I am now worrying that I have been doing this wrong.

You see when I import drafts I import them as follows:

If I had just completed the Pro 2024-25 season and was in the the draft that occurs in April of 2005 I would upload the fof42025 from TCY.

I read somewhere today though that the fof42025 should be used for the 2025-26 season because the fof42025 contained seniors that graduated in 20025 and would be eligible for the draft in 200226.

I have vowed not to play either game until I get this resolved. I would appreciate any help.

A senior who played in 2025 would graduate in 2026 and be eligible for the draft the same year.

So then that means that I would use the Draft file dated 2025 and upload it for the 2026 season?

My next TCY file is 2005 and I will be using it for the 2006 FOF season, so yes last post is correct.

Yeah, if you use that method of saving the files. The TCY setting is that the current year when the college regular season was played is used in the default name for the file.

Some have created draft files themselves though, and the standard for naming them is that you use the year when the draft file should be <b>imported</b>, that's might be what caused the confusion.
