Fantastic game. Why is nobody talking about it?
29 ticks left, 27-27, Favre is leading the Pack down the field. 1st and 10 at their own 43.

Completion puts them near FG range and Favre spikes it with 12 seconds to go!

My Hasselbeck post was an attempt.

Final TO called by the Packers, and Longwell is sent in with :05 on the clock for the 47 yard attempt.

Longwell kicks it short.
Overtime!

He would have made it from 43. So he's got that going for him.

Matty Hasselbach had the biggest smile calling heads on the coin toss that I have ever seen! Hehe.

Check the NFL wildcard weekend thread. People are always talking in the weekly NFL thread.

That would be cool, actually. Will never happen though.

Even though I am lifelong Eagles fan (PM'd sympathies would be appreciated) I have a fondness for Holmgren and I hope they win.
I would have went for it there..... I have a feeling that GB is just going to march right down the field.....

This has been about as entertaining a playoff game as I can remember.

Look at that...it IS possible to play defense in overtime.

I hate the Seahawks. Win or lose, I feel like I age about 10 years every time we make the playoffs.

Harris almost celebrated a bit too soon.
Wow, Hasselbeck must really feel bad about that throw.

I don't know why I support this team sometimes.
Anyway, good game, Packers. You did deserve to win.

Sorry. Read your post about the same time I saw the Hasselbeck pick. I let out a guttural war cry that could be heard across the house as Harris slipped past Hasselbeck to punch it in.
Good game, we'll be better next year, I think. It's been fun watching Matt Hasselbeck develop. Now that we have a real GM, I look forward to the offseason.

I do not think this is the last that we'll hear out of Matt Hasselbeck. He's the best guy we've had in the uniform since the early Dave Krieg years, before he developed fumble-itis. And yes, that includes a decrepit, already washed up when he left the Vikings Warren Moon.

With all the beer, Brats, and cheese, I always assumed all Pack fans died this way. Shows how much I know.

I know the football nazi's are going to slam Hasselbeck, but that was awesome when he said that at Lambeau field. It would have helped had he won, but, hey, let's give him some credit for actually looking like he wasn't just "doing his job."

I am a big fan of both QB's and of course, once I told my wife I was just rooting for the QB's, Hasselbeck is intercepted and Al Harris decides the game.
My old roommate was a huge Pack fans from Kenosha. He was a brat eatin' fool. :D

I think that it was a very unique call from Hasselback but he certainly is going to get ripped in the media after that interception.
By the way Bonegavel, why would you want PM'd sympathies for being a lifelong Eagles fan? Unless you are talking about some of the lean years. I feel really good about their chances this year.

If he does, it's because journalists are either desperate for a story or can't tell the difference between a player truly enjoying himself and a player that is posturing in attempt to humiliate the other team.

On one of the local postgame shows they pretty much said the WR ran the wrong route on the play. The outside recievers were supposed to run 6-yard hitch routes but Bannister didn't cut off his route. Hasselbeck threw the ball where he expected the receiver to be.
Looking toward next year, if he can get the receivers to cut down on their drops, the offense will put up huge numbers.

I don't know what the big deal is, he said they were gonna score.... and they did.
For the Packers.
Had he of said we want the ball, we're gonna win, then I could understand.
