Seriously, I never believe that brains and personality shit when I hear it. I want a girl to be interseting and all that. But you don't really know about all that for while. In the beginning all you can tell is if she's physically attractive and that her personality is not totally repulsive.

I feel the urge to reply... I require just a few things in a girl/women...

1. Natural Beauty- When she wakes up she looks the same as the night before when she was dressed up.
2. Intelligence/ Street Smart- I want her to be smart and able to recognize any social situation. (I.E. I’m with friends and something bad happened, she see’s this and doesn’t come with her nagging.)
3. Sense of Humor – I’m a weird ass kid, I find comedy in anything about life. I wouldn’t mind having someone laughing with me genuinely.

Seriously, I fell for her, and I've fell for other women who are almost exclusively redhead or brunette (my wife's a brunette).

I've dated women who were taller and shorter (I'm 5'6", I dated a volleyball player in college who was 5'11", my wife stands 5'2"), some that were skinny, and some that were chunky.

I love a woman who laughs, who can hold an intelligent conversation (and shares at least a few common interests), and who has an engaging personality. My wife meshes with all of these criteria.

And on a separate and complete superficial level, most, but not all of the women I've dated have been hippy and rather well endowed in the cleavage spectrum (but not all on either count, so this is far from universal).

My wife.

She is a mans wet dream waiting to happen. She loves to go to Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Hockey games, understands them, and lets the ref and opposing teams have them. She lets me play Semi-Pro football and doesn't complain when I whine about my injuries. She also loves Choppers and classic cars.

And she is hot, I will tell you flat out, if she wasn't as beautiful as she was when we met, there would not have been a second date. Well, we met my Senior year in High School (93) dated for 3 years, and married.

Oh yeah, we also go people watching at the mall.....If you have never done it, do. Just head on over, sit back somewhere, and observe all the interesting characters you see walk by, and the things people do when they think know one is watching.

I think what I look for in a lady is entirely dependent on the situation.

For example, with someone you've known for some time, something like looks isn't nearly as important as it is with someone you've never spoken to. With long time friends/associates you are more likely to find yourself attracted to their personality/sense of humour and the like, which leads to the full-blown romantic attraction.

With people you don't know, it's probably 90% physical attraction. If someone isn't pleasing to your eye, you aren't likely to go out of your way to introduce yourself to the person.

I just can't stand arrogant, condescending or pretentious people in general. It seems like many of the girls I have met that would be considered classy fall into one of those categories.
