I have three keepers by now, all them 19 years old but i don't train keepers so i'm going to sell one.
My 1st team keeper is a solid one, i won't sell this one of course.

The other two keepers are one passable and the other inadecuate. I would get more money from the passable one so i'm thinking on selling him and keep the inadecuate as backup. Is this a good idea? i haven't ever seen a keeper missing a match so i don't think that i will use my backup a lot, but what do you think?

My first goalie is an excellent, and my back-up one is a weak lol :)
So i'm happy to say that i've never been forced to play him in real matches yet.

I guess an inad would be sufficient for immediate substitution, for longer injuries on your first guy you're probably gonna need a better one though, but you can always buy a temp backup then or something. That's what i would do.

It is possible to have a keeper injured. I have seen it happen a couple of times. It does seem like it happens less than it does to other players however. I currently employ a solid keeper with a passable keeper backup. This is one of the weaker positions on my team, even though my solid keeper has high xp and can put up 3-4 stars depending on form.

I plan on picking up a Brilliant or Magnificent keeper near the end of the season this year depending on how sales go on one of my trainees. When I do this, I will sell the passable keeper, and keep my experienced veteran solid keeper as my backup. This should solidify my keeper position for 4-6 seasons depending on how well my team progresses.

My rule of thumb is that when playing a backup, I shouldn't lose more than 1/4 of the stars that I would get when I play a starter. Therefore if my keeper is 4 stars, my backup should be able to put up 3 stars. If my keeper puts up 8 stars, the backup should put up 6 stars. However, if I ever get a keeper that puts up 8 stars, I might reconsider paying a backup 6 star money . . .

My backup is a high Passable (~2 weeks from Solid), and my starter is mid-to-high Solid. Like Raven Hawk, I'm probably going to upgrade there next, and I'll keep the starter as my backup, and the backup will be sold.

I'd sell the Inad, Icy. It might seem bad now to not get the extra $30-50k, or however much it'd be, but later on that much money will just be pennies.

My backup is brilliant.

"You mean you put a backup in that's brilliant? Brilliant!"

My primary is formidable and my secondary is excellent (and good enough that he starts if his form is good enough).

Mind you, I'm a keeper trainer, so it probably doesn't have much relevance to you.

I have a solid as my starter and a passable as my backup. I've only had my team for a little over one and a half seasons, and have had 3 keepers injured in that time. Two of them for 3 weeks and one for 1 week. I got my passable keeper when my solid went down this season and only had an inadequate in poor form as my backup.

Sell the passable. Because man, you have a 19 year old for the starting keeper position. If he gets injured hire 10 docs and get him back in before the next game... simple.
