I installed the free version of phpBB on the site and have (hopefully) configured it for use. Let me know what you think of the style that I added....I was looking for something pleasing to the eye, as well as something that I could have open at work and not get noticed (ala A Day at the Office on FOFC).

What I think works best for now is to try and get owners into the habit of checking the league board...move volume over there would seem to legitimize the fact that we're on the cusp of beginning. Like everyone else in the league, my habits lead me to FOFC on a daily basis, so for now, I think any new discussion or league announcement will be posted on both boards....the difference being that the post on FOFC will just contain a link to the IHOF boards.

Here's the helmet...I haven't seen the flat logo for the Heroes yet, but my plan is to add all the flat logos to the IHOF board's avatar selection once I get them all.

Problem with forum?

I'm on my laptop right now, having no problems. But when I went upstairs to my desktop to quickly upload the logo for my avatar I was getting that weird error.

something like "make sure /install and /XXXX are deleted"

and i'm now back on my laptop... all is working fine. This was all within a 5 minute span.

Sorry about that guys, I was working on some of the scripts needed to include attachments. I thought it would just take a few minutes, but it looks like it'll take a bit more than that. I'll wait until it's late to try again.

Why do we need to move the forum?

I MUCH prefer that we keep league discussions here, as I check this forum daily. Can't the league site just have a link back to the league specific forum at FOFC? In addition to being more convenient, by keeping the discussions here we would retain our status as the only league elite enough to have a dedicated forum here.

In any case, if there is going to be a move, do it all out - delete (or at least lock) this forum and really move to the new one, or keep them here and get rid of the new one. Having two open forums is confusing, and IMO, pointless.

I don't think that we are any more or less elite than anyone else (more eliteist, yes. more elite, no.). I do agree that we should only have the one forum open. I thought that this forum was supposed to be a place holder until the website got up and running. I'm for shutting this one down and moving all operations over yonder.

exactly. anyone who thinks or writes this "elite" stuff does not speak for the entire league, by any means.

side note: we should lock this forum soon... then eventually just merge these threads into the multiplayer forum, then get rid of this entirely.
