Just what I needed - Another game.

I really didn't want to buy another game today. I decided I'd be good and play an old game that I enjoy and that I keep on my hard drive for situations like this. I'm talking about smugglers 2. All is fine and good but I ran into a never before encountered bug and I went to their site to see if there was a patch.

I found out that Smugglers 3 is out. I can't win. I'm downloading it now. :)

Well, it is pretty fun. :)

Major upgrade from 2 but I liked the old sector price screen which is now gone. Now, you have to check prices one at a time. My only gripe so far.

If you would have checked the email account you had when you bought Smugglers 2, there was an email giving 5 dollars off Smugglers 3. There was for me anyway.

Ah, that's how to get the discount. Alas, I no longer have access to that e-mail account. Oh well, the game is still worth it to me.

I can't believe how much of an upgrade this game is over the last version. I'm having a blast. It's way more play balanced it seems. I finally have enough cash to buy a jump capable ship and have to really decide how I want to proceed. It's a tight little game.

Crap. I was really excited about this game (Just by the title). I think "Cool, a game where you smuggle things from country to country, have allies, pay bribes, etc", instead you get some sci-fi crap.

That Smugglers 3 game looks promissing, could any of you do a review of it after playing long careers? how deep is it? how good is the AI?

And what about that other game they have there, TV Manager?
