Anyone seen this.....Man its freaking Awesome.
Check out www.cheaters.com to see when it plays in your area.
Basically a spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend who "suspects" her/his significant other of cheating the cheating calls the show. The "cheaters team" is a group of private investigators with all kinds of spy type camera equipment. They stake out the spouse that is supposedly cheating to see what is up.
ONce the evidence has been collected, the show calls the person that is being cheated upon and shows them the evidence of infidelity. Then there is a big ass confrontation between the wronged partner and the cheater. The confrontation is the best part cause the show's host(Some dude named Joey) will just say random funny inflamatory shit to the "cheater."
Its awesome.

I've seen this show. Me and a friend of mine were watching TV one night and we flipped to a channel that was showing it. It was awesome.

I've been watching it for the past year and a half... the show has gone through 3 different hosts in that time and the most recent host was actually "stabbed" although it looked odd by one of those people he inflamed. It's a good background show as I play FOF or whatever on the computer.

Hijack: Anyone see the movie "I Want to Marry Ryan Banks" on ABC Family? It's about a Bachelor/Bachelorette style TV show, but to keep this moderately on topic the host they get for the show is hilarious. He really slams all the girls that get voted out.
<Insert random joke about gstelmack watching chick flicks here. I can take it.>

What happens if they find nothing? I'd want to know that I had a crazy psycho for a girlfriend.

That stabbing looked fake. Real fake.

They dont ever "Find nothing." And if i think there is nothing, the person who contacts the show is responsible for paying the cost of the swat team.

I've only seen the show once or twice, but I was under the impression that the entire thing was staged.

I got the same vibe. I usually end up changing channels until I find Conan O'Brien or some other show to while away the time. I don't know what it is...production values, or the like. I think I've watched only one episode...really didn't do much for me.
I tend to avoid the whole "relationship-related" style television shows..

Ahhh, Cheaters. The show is filmed in Dallas, and I have a great time trying to figure out where the people live at. It's a good show.
Oh, and the original host was the best, IMHO...

ONe guy found out his girlfriend was cheating on him with another girl. They asked the guy if he wanted to join (they both were pretty hot) and he was so made at that moment, he said Screw you both.
I laughed at him

Wasn't his name "Tommy" something. Real Cheesy name. That show is so low budget its great. The question is, do you guys think its real?

Yeah, Tommy is right.
I think the show is real...

I also liked the first host the best. I think the show is generally real, but like I said, I think the stabbing was odd and probably fake.

I think most of it is real, but I wouldn't be surprised if they threw in a fake one or two and send them over the top (like the stabbing incident I did not see) to try to get some publicity for the show.

The stabbing appeared to be real enough to me. They've only had two hosts. Tommy Grand (real name: Tommy Habeeb) was the first, and Joey Greco is the second. The only other time someone else hosted it was the episode in which they showed Joey getting stabbed. Jack E. Jett (see his website, jackejett.com) hosted that one episode because Joey was recovering from the stabbing. Jett was never an "official" host of the show, though.
I've seen every episode, and I think it's great. I'll watch it as long as it's on the air. I heart Cheaters.
One note: There was one time that they found nothing. They followed this guy's girlfriend for three weeks, and they found no evidence of foul play. I think the only reason they showed this was because the guy appeared to be an idiot in his interview, and the fact that they found no basis to his accusations made him look even more like an idiot.

THe Joey getting stabbed was so dumb.
They go out on the lake, forcefully board a dude and his girl on a boat, and then the Joey gets stabbed. Damn, they were like pirates on the open ocean or something. I heard he really only got sliced though.
I heard there was an episode where the host got a gun pulled on him though. I want to see that one.
The Caution tape/strobe light female face painted lesbian threesome was probably one of my personal faves. And the Mcdonalds episode was also classic too. Thats the one where the "suspects friend" turned on the guy too.

This show sounds awesome...
in that "extremely stupid, Jackass-y, not-at-all awesome" sorta way.
Probably just me, though.

Its funny more than anything else. Jackass isn't funny to me, but I can laugh at this show for awhile. Its really setup nicely too with the stories and all.
