For Round 4, there are only a few teams that need to bid. Deadline is 11:59 PM EST Wednesday Night.
If your team is already full/close to it, you can begin thinking about trades (there will be a short window of about 2 nights) and your description to be used in the polling threads (line-up, staff). I don't expect them to be essays, but it would benefit you if you put in a little bit of description at least.
Burke, Tim - 20
Huggins, Miller - 50
Martinez, Dennis - 60
O'Neill, Paul - 60
Perhaps over-paid for all of these guys, but I only had 4 spots left to fill, and wanted to get all of these guys badly.. and with points to spare, I made sure of it.
Burke is another guy in the bullpen (with Gagne, Smith, Quisenberry) who is very reliable... Dennis Martinez is another great pitcher (with Maddux, Gibson, Ryan, Halladay) and O'Neill is a very capable bench player behind Tony Gwynn. Huggins is also a good 2B who with Billy Herman is a good tandem there at one of the weakest positions historically.

Filled out my etam with
Chad Bradford - 1
Jose Canseco - 20
Eddie Cicotte - 80
Octavio Dotel - 1
Ray Durham - 1
Bobby Matthews - 33
John McGraw (3b) - 83
John Ward - 41
The only players I had to outbid anyone on were McGraw (obviously because of the recent dillemma with the player/managers) and then also Eddie Cicotte, a great pitcher overlooked because he was part of the Black Sox Scandal. The other guys are okay. Good closers with saves were getting hard to come by, so I figured I'd get some good middle relievers, somewhat of a more recent trend in baseball (represented by two of today's best).

I was able to nab Helton, Stargell, Winfield and Jim Rice to add some much needed pop to my lineup. Also was able to pick up A top tier defensive Catcher in Jim Sundberg and I also picked up Matt Nokes just to hit against Roger Clemens. :)

Damn it! Totally forgot about this with the weekend's happenings (Superbowl, IHOF draft). Well, it looks like I'll have to scramble with the last round...

I badly wanted Eppa Eixey. He was the last big time Left Hander left.

I can't access the spreadsheet at the moment, but I believe that I won Stargell in the 2nd round of bidding.....

First, thank you to BishopMVP for making this auction happen and running it in efficient fashion.
Second, thanks to my competitors for not making things too easy for me.
Third, I'm sorry I screwed up my bidding AGAIN. I only have one player left, so I don't think I'll mess up any more.
Fourth, I hate to do this, but I need to point out several discrepancies:
* Luis Aparacio, who was listed as being claimed by BishopMVP, is actually the property of Isiddiqui.
* Ron Santo, who was listed as being claimed by ntndeacon, is actually the property of Coffee Warlord.
* Tommy Joh, who was listed as being claimed by Oykib, is actually the property of Chief Rum.
* Sam McDowell, who was listed as being claimed by Oykib, is actually the property of Suicane75.
* Jesse Orosco, who was listed as being claimed by Oykib, is actually the property of atz840.
* Willie Stargell, who was listed as being claimed by Suicane75, is actually the property of TheLionKing.
* Dave Winfield, who was listed as being claimed by Suicane75, is actually the property of Coffee Warlord.
And fifth, I have a question for vtbub (or perhaps Bishop) - which Bill Lee did you win? The lefty that pitched for Boston & Montreal (http://www.baseball-reference.com/l/leebi03.shtml) in the '70s and '80s? Or The righty that pitched for the Cubs (http://www.baseball-reference.com/l/leebi02.shtml) in the '30s and '40s?

Bob Dola says if you have a wife like Liddy, you need those little blue pills.
I'm pleased because I got everyone I wanted except for one player I accidentally rebid on.
The current depth chart:
mgr - Joe McCarthy
c - Ted Simmons & Lance Parrish
1b - Keith Hernandez
2b - Joe Morgan & Lou Whitaker
ss - George Davis
3b - Mike Schmidt
1b/3b - Darrell Evans
ss/3b - Rico Petrocelli
of - Charlie Keller, Kirk Gibson, Richie Ashburn, Eric Davis, Frank Robinson & Bobby Bonds
sp - Lefty Grove, Bert Blyleven, Gaylord Perry, Jimmy Key
swingmen - Wes Ferrell, Bob Lemon
setup - Duane Ward, John Hiller
closer - Kent Tekulve
One player left to go. Who will be the lucky guy? Stay tuned.

FYI - I bid on 4 guys
Alfonso Soriano 26
Kiki Cuyler 21
Sam Rice 20
Red Schoendienst 20
I only needed 3 - I thought I would have been outbided on Soriano - so I tried for Schoendienst just in case at the 4th slot - therefore - since Red would be my 27th player - he isn't mine.

Thanks a lot for the error-correction. I passed out after giving blood yesterday (didn't eat all day prior to it) so I was pretty much out of it while making the list. The site has been updated. Can't believe I messed up too.:)
For vtbub, I don't know for certain, but I'm guessing the LHP from Boston, since he has bid on a number of Red Sox players.

Since most teams have the vast majority of their rosters drafted, I decided to start the dynasty report (http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/forums/showthread.php?p=370189#post370189) I have been discussing for the past two weeks or so. This will be a fun little thing that will provide a different perspective on which team is the best. Maybe.
P.S. I'm now accepting trade offers for anyone on my team - and I do mean anyone! The worst I'll say is some variation of "that offer does not bring enough talent in return".

If anyone needs a high OBP guy or a .400 hitter for the top of their lineup, and has some power to trade, let me know.
I am willing to listen to all offers as well...

As long as both teams have filled out their roster, they do not. The total number of players does need to. No official trades until all teams have completed their rosters, which should be by the end of this week.
