I loved the Lord of the Rings movies more than most, but this guy seems a bit overboard:

Our Greatest Drama (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=%2Fopinion%2F2004%2F02%2F01%2Fdo0106.xml&secureRefresh=true&_requestid=71002)

My favorite line: "....I believe The Return of the King to be one of the great artefacts of Western civilisation."

Wow.

"At least four of the male actors - Elijah Wood, Sir Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen and Bernard Hill - fully deserve Oscars."

Um, did they add some extra best actor categories without telling us?

The fact that he starts out by saying Elijiah Wood deserves an Oscar saved me the trouble of having to take the rest of the article seriously.
