Don't know where you heard that rumour about UC's uniforms, but it's untrue. In fact, they're switching back to their old high school unis. Orange jumpsuits.

The only team in college basketball where players don't wear numbers such as 4, 32, 40, etc.

They wear numbers such as 239438, 9089834, 2938473.

One thing we know for sure, the new uni's won't include caps and gowns.

This game was so typical of a X-UC game it made me sick. Chadd Moore needs to get more PT over Nick Williams during the end of games, Williams just panics I think. First Charlotte, now X.

I state my gripe with college players before the ensuing fuckup by UC, and I basically called it. With 17 on the clock, I mentioned how we would try to burn it down for the last shot, but of course we would wait too long, til like 5 seconds left to do anything and then when no great shot is open we will force some crap up. I see it happen all the time in college, players don't know you need atleast 10 seconds to start making your move.

Instead, Williams starts lookin to pass with about 7.5 left and with everyone tightly guarded lobs that ball straight out of bounds with 4.9 to play. Sigh.

We have a bunch of very talented players, but just no stars. (As the saying goes, jack all of all trades, master of none.)

Hicks is quickly becoming a fan favorite around these parts.
